Not much remains of the town of Sligo, Texas. Nothing but a one room schoolhouse. Set back from a deserted highway, in another bereft realm of West Texas, the Sligo school was established in 1923. After two previous school buildings burned to the ground, Sligo consolidated and students were transferred to Denver City on September 1, 1959.
This is all that remains of Sligo.
